Texas House Criminal Jurisprudence Committee Chair Joe Moody, D-El Paso, and Rep. Jeff Leach, R-Plano, orchestrated an unprecedented legislative maneuver that temporarily spared the life of death row inmate Robert Roberson just before he was scheduled to be executed.
Join us at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, for a conversation with Moody and Leach about their efforts to permanently avoid Roberson’s execution and their concerns about the science behind the shaken baby syndrome diagnosis that prompted a jury to sentence him to death.
