DALLAS – If you’re headed up to Dallas for the Texans game this evening, you’ll run into some scattered showers closer to Houston heading north.
By lunchtime, a thin but strong line of storms from the cold front will be rolling through the Dallas metroplex, with some strong winds and lightning.
However, closer to game time, skies should clear out and be cool and breezy for kickoff!
Drivers planning to make the trip are encouraged to check their routes and prepare for potentially hazardous road conditions, especially as the cold front moves through the Dallas area.
While the storms are expected to be brief, they could still cause slick roads and limited visibility, particularly around midday.
Make sure to leave early, as weather-related delays are possible.
For those attending the game, bringing a light jacket is recommended. The post-front breeze is expected to bring cooler temperatures, making for a more comfortable evening in the stands.
