Football brothers Jason and Travis Kelce ink new podcast deal with Amazon

Amazon’s Wondery has acquired the rights to a popular podcast hosted by the recently retired NFL star Jason Kelce and his brother Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and boyfriend of Taylor Swift, the parties said Tuesday.

The brothers’ “New Heights” podcast has become a crossover pop culture hit thanks to their Super Bowl-winning careers and Travis Kelce’s romance with the megawatt songstress Swift.

Amazon’s Wondery podcast studio will sells ads for and distribute the brothers’ show, which currently posts on YouTube and Apple.

“We couldn’t be more excited to team up with Wondery for the next phase of ‘New Heights,’” the brothers said in a statement released by Amazon. “We love this show, and the fanbase that has grown with us over the last two seasons.”

The terms of the deal were not immediately disclosed.

Wondery CEO Jen Sargent called the brothers’ podcast a “hilarious, relevant commentary” with “unprecedented insider access to the NFL season and professional sports.”

In the past year, “New Heights” became must-hear content for both football fans and Swifties as Jason played his last season with the Eagles and Travis’ Chiefs won their second consecutive Super Bowl — while balancing the gridiron with his role as pop culture prince next to the world’s most famous woman.

This is a developing story. Please check back for updates.
